- If you have forgotten your password you will be asked to enter your username and you will then be presented with your reminder phrase. This is the phrase you entered when you registered to help you remember your password.
- If you have forgotten your username you will be asked to enter your surname, email address and date of birth and clicking on 'Remind Me' will reveal your username and password reminder phrase.
- If you cannot find your course in the course menu, you probably haven't registered on it yet. So when you into The e Learning Place go to 'Search'. You will be given a list of all of the courses on offer. Click on the title of the course, which interests you and then click 'Register'. If you have already registered on the course, it will show up in the course menu in your course list. If your status is 'Pending' this means that you can only access the course when the organisation running the course accepts you. When you are accepted on the course, your status changes to 'Not Started'. So 'Not Started' means that you can go ahead. To start your course, click on the course title which will open in a new browser window.
In the pilot phase, courses are free to those who live in Merseyside. If you are from outside of Merseyside the tasters and open access courses are available free.
Some support will be available on the courses by application. There is no tutor support on the open and public information courses.
No - following a course on The e Learning Place will not lead to a qualification as we do not currently have complete accredited courses online but the courses offer pathways that can lead to a qualification. Accredited courses are currently under construction.
